Super September

Hey all!  It's been a while.  September was a busy month and flew by me.  So has October.  Trying to get caught up since today is November!  Man, the year is almost over...CRAZY!!

FYI, I lost my camera in September :(  On a trip around the island and stopping to see a Macadamia Nut Farm, it disappeared.  It happened somewhere between pulling in the driveway and coming in the house.  We turned the car upside down, the house inside out, and I even dug through the trash.  No luck.  I prayed to St. Anthony, nothing.  So I had to resort to taking pictures with my phone.  I charged up an old camera so we are using that now.  But the point of telling you this was that there will only be one post per month due to me combining the pictures on the computer from camera and phone.  Lucky you, only one post per month to read!  Unless I get blog happy and decide to do it every day...ha yea right!

Here's what September was filled with:
Playing around on Daddy's day off
She's getting really good at the shaka.  In her previous attempts, she would usually (accidentally, I might add) flip you off.  oops.  Glad she's got it now!
Our playful little (and not so little) babies
1st Husker Saturday!
Excited to watch and cheer for the Huskers!
Popcorn Friday Saturday...Daddy made it extra special with drizzled dark chocolate!
Heartbreaker
Griffin Pants- long story short, the day we went to have Griffin, my girlfriends here asked Gracie what her brother's name was and they thought she said "Griffin Pants".  It's become his nickname. :)
Out for dinner at our favorite pizza joint-Brick Oven Pizza
haha He makes me giggle

We were told to eat breakfast at Boots & Kimo by someone, and we saw pretty good reviews on the internet, so we decided to check it out.  These pictures are from the drive with my phone.  I had snapped a photo of our blueberry pancakes with macadamia nut syrup to show you all how mouth-watering delicious they were, but unfortunately, that proof is on my missing camera.  Trust me though, it was so so so yummy!
Out of the tunnel on H3 overlooking Kaneohe.  Most beautiful interstate drive ever!
Heading back from Boots & Kimo
Clouds on the mountain top
Came in to kiss Gracie one night and this is how I found her, legs between bed and wall and head in the middle of her bed.  Silly girl.
Whatchu lookin' at Willis?
Sophia came over to play with us!
Out

These couple of pictures are all we have from the day our camera disappeared.  We drove to the west side of the island and up to Kahuku to their Macadamia Nut Farm.  While there, it was a Husker Saturday, we ran into some other Husker fans!  Very rare on this island!  We only knew because they too had their Husker shirts on.  After trying some of their nuts (the farm's nuts!), we drove further northwest to Kualoa Ranch to pick up some grass-fed beef at a reasonable price.  Another very rare thing on the island.  We walked around the ranch, checked out the horses, and had lunch.  It was at that point, we decided to drive the long way home and head up to Turtle Bay then back down through North Shore.  The second picture below was snapped by Gracie on our way to Turtle Bay.  On my bucket list was to see Turtle Bay.  Just wanted to see it since it's been in a few movies and my old favorite tv show filmed there once.  I'm too embarrassed to say the name but it had something to do with a Jon and Kate plus their 8 kids. ;)  I got my pictures and my check mark for our list, and we headed to North Shore.  We stopped again to take pictures of some big waves at Sunset Beach, but as you have figured out, I don't have those either.  Sad panda here with no proof of our fun day around the island.  This is all I got.

The next day, we wanted to check off another bucket list item so we headed to the beach for a picnic and sunset.  Couldn't have been a more beautiful evening and sunset with my awesome family.  Check!

Griffin rolled over this month!  He loves eating his toes and fingers and rolling from front to back and back to front.  Growing baby boy!
Always keeping me laughing.  Free entertainment.
Rainbow over the house

We also went to Justin's coworkers' house to help celebrate their little girl's 3rd birthday.  They had a tumble bus and face painting.  Gracie had so much fun!
Our little ladybug

This month we also got family pictures done.  Another item checked on the bucket list!  We were so excited to meet Amanda from Leaving Memories Photography and have her captures some pictures of us all.  They turned out fabulous.  You'll see them in the next post.  I know, I know, you want to see them now.  Be patient, my friends!  Or as Gracie told me this month, "Mom, relax!"  Oh joy.
On our way to Bellows to get family pictures!
Here's after the pictures and were out to dinner at Outback.  Gracie is such a good photographer!
Next update, October.  Hopefully by tonight or tomorrow.  I'll start uploading the pics now.  That's the longest part!
